The BluSky Live Readiness Program (LARP) is a structured pathway designed to prepare identified traders for the transition from Sim Funded trading to a Live Brokerage Account.
BluSky's goal is to identify trading talent and provide traders with a sustainable path toward trading real firm capital. The Live Account Readiness Program allows traders to continue building their track record and demonstrating consistency while our Risk and Brokerage teams evaluate their readiness for Live Brokerage.
How It Works
Traders may be placed in the Live Account Readiness Program based on their overall trading profile, including factors such as consistency, payout activity, account history, risk management, and previous Sim Funded or Brokerage performance.
Placement in the program does not necessarily indicate poor performance or a rule violation. Traders demonstrating strong performance may also be selected as part of their progression toward Live Brokerage.
The Risk or Brokerage Departments may place a trader in the Live Account Readiness Program at their discretion.
While in the program, a trader may continue trading through a Sim Funded Account under parameters designed to support sustainable progression toward Live Brokerage.
Depending on the trader's profile and ongoing review, actions may include, but are not limited to:
Temporary changes to the profit split while progressing through the program
Adding a Static Drawdown to the Sim Funded Account
Additional account-specific risk controls or trading parameters
Potential transition to a Live Brokerage Account with a mandatory Daily Loss Limit
Potential transition to a Live Brokerage Account without additional program-specific restrictions
Specific parameters may vary by trader based on their trading history and overall risk profile.
Progression to Live Brokerage
The primary goal of the Live Account Readiness Program is Live Brokerage.
There is no single metric or timeline that automatically determines graduation. BluSky evaluates the trader's overall profile, including consistency, profitability, risk management, account stability, payout history, and trading behavior.
The objective is to establish a strong and sustainable foundation before transitioning the trader to real firm capital.
Once the Risk and Brokerage teams determine that a trader is ready, they may be invited to transition into a Live Brokerage Account.
Brokerage Eligibility
All Live Brokerage transitions remain subject to approval by BluSky's brokerage partners and their applicable onboarding and compliance requirements.
If a brokerage partner denies a trader's application for a Live Brokerage Account, the trader may be removed from the program and their BluSky account may be closed in accordance with BluSky's applicable terms and policies.
The goal is simple: identify trading talent, build a sustainable foundation, and create a pathway to Live Brokerage 🚀
