We’re updating the path from Sim Funded to Live Brokerage to give you more flexibility when you’re called up.
When BluSky approves you for a Live Brokerage transition, you’ll have two paths available: go live or take the buyout.
🚀 Option 1: Go Live
Choose Live Brokerage and your new Brokerage account will:
Start at a $0 balance
Receive a drawdown based on your qualifying account size
Place your eligible Sim Funded profits into your Bonus Vault
Your Sim Funded profits are therefore separate from the capital available inside your Brokerage account. Instead of being deposited into the live account as trading capital, eligible profits are held through the Bonus Vault structure.
Example: 50K Account
If your qualifying account has a $2,000 drawdown:
Live Brokerage Starting Balance: $0
Live Brokerage Drawdown: $2,000
Eligible Sim Funded Profits: Bonus Vault
This gives you access to live trading capital while keeping your Bonus Vault separate from the risk inside your Brokerage account.
💵 Option 2: Take the Buyout
Not ready to move into Live Brokerage?
When you’re called up, you can instead choose a one-time cash buyout equal to half of your qualifying account's drawdown.
After taking the buyout:
You receive the applicable cash payout.
You complete a short cooldown period.
You can then return to BluSky Evaluations and begin working toward another funded opportunity.
Example: 50K Account
Using a 50K account with a $2,000 drawdown:
Your Choice | What You Receive |
Go Live | $0 starting balance + $2,000 Brokerage drawdown |
Take the Buyout | $1,000 cash payout |
The choice is yours.
💰 $500 Minimum Payout Requests
BluSky is also standardizing payout request minimums.
The minimum payout request is now $500 across BluSky trading plans.
Any applicable payout caps, consistency requirements, profit thresholds, or other account-specific payout rules still apply.
📌 What About Accounts I Already Have?
The new Brokerage transition structure applies going forward beginning October 1, 2026.
Accounts already operating under their existing structure will not automatically be converted to the new $0 Brokerage / Bonus Vault setup.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do my Sim Funded profits become my Live Brokerage balance?
No. Under the new structure, your Live Brokerage account begins at $0 with its assigned drawdown. Eligible Sim Funded profits are instead associated with your Bonus Vault.
Do I have to accept Live Brokerage when I’m called up?
No. You can choose between moving into Live Brokerage or accepting the applicable one-time buyout.
How is my buyout calculated?
The buyout is equal to 50% of the applicable drawdown. For example, a $2,000 drawdown produces a $1,000 buyout.
Can I immediately purchase another Evaluation after accepting the buyout?
A short cooldown may apply before you can return to Evaluations.
