BlackArrow allows you to automatically attach a Stop Loss and Take Profit to your trades using Trading Brackets.
This can help you define your exit levels before entering a position.
1. Open Trading Brackets
From the BlackArrow Desktop App, open the Trading Bracket settings.
2. Create your bracket
Create a new bracket and configure your preferred:
Take Profit
Stop Loss
Quantity
Offset settings, if applicable
BlackArrow allows these levels to be configured using different measurement types, including ticks.
Example
You could create a bracket using:
Take Profit: 40 ticks
Stop Loss: 20 ticks
When the trade fills, your exit orders will automatically be placed at those distances from your entry.
3. Save your bracket
Save the bracket using the "Ok" button so you can select it again from the Chart Trading panel - You will be prompted to save your modifications and then add a name for the created bracket.
You can create multiple presets for different strategies or setups.
For example:
Scalp
20-tick Stop Loss / 30-tick Take Profit
Standard
30-tick Stop Loss / 60-tick Take Profit
4. Select your bracket before placing the trade
Return to the Chart Trading panel and locate the Bracket dropdown.
Choose the bracket you want to use before submitting your order.
Always verify the selected bracket before entering your trade.
5. Managing your Stop Loss and Take Profit
Once your entry order fills, your Stop Loss and Take Profit will appear as working orders.
NOTE: BlackArrow uses an OCO — One Cancels the Other — structure.
This means:
If your Take Profit fills, the corresponding Stop Loss is cancelled.
If your Stop Loss fills, the corresponding Take Profit is cancelled.
You can also adjust your working orders directly from the chart when needed ✅
