Connecting Quantower to ProjectX

For traders who prefer a desktop experience, Quantower can be connected directly to ProjectX. Follow these steps to set up Quantower:

1. Obtain a Quantower License

You must have your own valid Quantower license to connect with ProjectX.

2. Download and Install Quantower

3. Sign ProjectX Agreements

Before connecting:

  • Use your ProjectX credentials from your BluSky dashboard:

  • Sign any required agreements. Enter credentials exactly as provided, check for extra spaces if login fails.

4. Connect Quantower to ProjectX

  • Open Quantower.

  • Search for "Project X" in the connections list and select it.

  • In Server Settings, choose BluSky.

  • Enter your ProjectX credentials and click Connect.

5. Configure Your Workspace

Quantower offers full workspace customization:

  • Select a Template: Use a pre-made Futures template or build your own.

  • Add Widgets: Use the + button to add charts, DOM panels, and tools.

  • Arrange Layout: Organize panels to match your trading style via drag-and-drop.

6. Start Trading

  • Open Charts: Use the + icon to create charts, select instruments, timeframes, and add indicators.

  • DOM Trading: Open DOM Trader to view market depth and place orders:

    • Market Orders: Use Buy Market or Sell Market.

    • Limit Orders: Click on desired price levels.

    • Stop Orders: Right-click on price levels to configure.

  • Monitor Positions: Use the Positions & Orders window to modify or track active trades.
